United International University (UIU) follows a letter-grade GPA system on a 4.0 scale. Here is the standard conversion:

Your CGPA is calculated as a weighted average across all courses. UIU also uses an OBE (Outcome-Based Education) system for assessments, meaning marks are distributed across CLOs (Course Learning Outcomes).

Yes. If you receive an F in a course, you must retake it. You can also retake courses where you scored a D or higher if you want to improve your CGPA, this is called a grade improvement.

• When you retake a course, the new grade replaces the old grade in your CGPA calculation.
• Both grades may still appear on your transcript, but only the latest one counts toward your CGPA.
• You must pay the course fee again when retaking.
• There is no strict limit on how many times you can retake a course, but discuss with your academic advisor.

1. Sign in Go to the homepage and click Get Started. Enter your @uiu.ac.bd email address. You will receive a 6-digit OTP code by email; enter it to log in. (Only UIU students with a valid university email can sign in.)
2. Find your faculty, After signing in you will land on the Faculty Directory. Search by name or filter by department.
3. Write your review, Click on a faculty member's name to open their profile. Scroll to Your review and fill in ratings for Teaching Style, Responsiveness, Workload, and Clarity, then add an optional comment.
4. Submit, Click Submit Review. Your review is anonymous by default. Real reviews help other UIU students choose better.

You can only submit one review per faculty. Please be honest and respectful.

You can edit your review at any time:

1. Sign in and navigate to the faculty profile you reviewed.
2. Scroll to the Your review section, your existing review will be pre-filled in the form.
3. Change any rating or update your comment.
4. Click Update Review to save your changes.

Your review will be updated immediately. Admin can edit or delete your review.

Yes, reviews are anonymous by default. Faculty members cannot see who left a review. Your name and email are never shown to faculty.

In your account settings you can optionally choose to display your username or email publicly next to your reviews but this is entirely optional and off by default.

The platform is built specifically for UIU students. Your @uiu.ac.bd email is used only for authentication and is never shared.

Choosing the right faculty can significantly affect your grade, workload, and learning experience. Here is what to look for:

• Teaching Style: If you prefer structured lectures, look for faculty rated highly in this area. If you learn better through examples and discussions, check the clarity score.
• Workload: Some courses have heavy assignments and quizzes. If you are taking multiple tough courses in a semester, pick a faculty with a manageable workload score.
• Responsiveness: For project-heavy courses, a faculty who is easy to reach and quick to respond to questions is very valuable.
• Student comments: Read the written comments carefully. They often reveal things raw scores cannot e.g., attendance rules, exam patterns, and grading fairness.

UIU Faculty Reviewer is a student-only platform created exclusively for students of United International University. Restricting login to @uiu.ac.bd email addresses ensures:

• Only real UIU students can post reviews keeping content authentic.
• Faculty or outsiders cannot create fake positive reviews.
• The community stays relevant and trustworthy for UIU students.

The CGPA Calculator lets you estimate your current CGPA or simulate what your GPA will look like after a semester. You can:

• Enter your existing courses with credits and grades to calculate your current CGPA.
• Add planned future courses to see how they will affect your CGPA.
